Route Planning Software

Navigation software with route planning is particularly interesting for companies in the transport industry for route planning. With the help of navigation software, costs can be saved in a targeted manner, e.g. by determining the optimal route for a route.

Route planning software is used to find the fastest or shortest route between a starting point and destination. Route planners are available for private use, but also for business users such as freight forwarders as a basis for economical route planning. Navigation software, usually a combination of software for PCs or smartphones and a GPS receiver, uses GPS positioning and the corresponding map material (e.g. road maps) to guide the user to the selected location, taking various criteria into account. Often, especially in the business sector, additional functions such as vehicle location, scheduling or even toll modules are offered.
