zenLAB® is a software framework that takes the individual development of networked middleware solutions for use in the laboratory to a new level of efficiency and quality for both laboratory operators and equipment manufacturers.
The zenLAB architecture consists of a central component including a database and pre-developed standard components. This allows you to shift your focus from the development of basic functionalities to the actual added value of your software solution. This added value is contained in specific modules that are individually developed for you, your processes and your requirements and access zenLAB as a basis.
Such modules can take over versatile tasks thanks to the continuous networking from the device level to the management level: These include, for example, scheduling for test runs, workload management, LIMS functions or the transfer of pre-processed data to integrated LIMS. Likewise, zenLAB modules can take over instrument control functions. The integration of laboratory devices can be done via vendor-specific/proprietary as well as vendor-independent, open and standardized interfaces such as SiLA, AnIML or OPC UA (e.g. via LADS).
zenLAB supports both the use in the R&D environment and, in many cases, the construction of software platforms with standard-compliant modules for use in the regulated environment.
