What is Silver Scan-Tool™?
The Silver Scan-Tool™ is designed for OBD (On Board Diagnostics) diagnostics according to SAE J1979, SAE J1939 and ISO 27145. The software maps the legally required features, i.e. the exhaust-related systems are scanned selectively. The tool meets the requirements of SAE J1979 and SAE J1939 (Heavy Duty OBD) as well as ISO 27145 (WWH-OBD).
Basic features:
- Overview table of supported services and sub-functions
- OBDII/EOBD scan tool function according to ISO 9141-2 / SAE J1979, ISO 14230 ISO 15765-4 (CAN), SAE J1850 PWM (Ford) and J1850 VPW (General Motors)
- All ten defined services ($01 to $0A) and all sub-functions (PIDs) are supported
- The extended PIDs in service $01 are supported
- Extended infotypes in service $09 are supported (Fuel/Energy Consumption, NOxBin, etc.)
