Z1 SecureMail Gateway enables you to encrypt and sign all your email traffic economically and efficiently. You secure confidential company information against industrial espionage and cybercrime and protect personal data in accordance with the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
Email encryption with PKI (S/MIME and OpenPGP)
Z1 SecureMail Gateway automates all processes relating to PKI-based email encryption and signing using the international email standards S/MIME and OpenPGP. Private and public keys for internal users are automatically generated, managed and published on request. You can automatically obtain certificates from renowned trust centers directly via the gateway. You then benefit from Zertificon's attractive reseller conditions. Alternatively, you can simply import existing certificates into the gateway.
Certificates from external communication partners are automatically searched for, validated and saved for later use.
Email encryption with password
Encrypting emails with passwords allows spontaneous, confidential email exchanges with anyone, e.g. with end customers or smaller service providers without their own encryption infrastructure. The solution automatically creates secure mailboxes or sends emails as encrypted HTML or PDF attachments. The recipient only needs a browser and / or a PDF reader to decrypt the message. Automated password management enables uncomplicated use even with a large number of external users.
Central sets of rules and a high level of automation
Thanks to the high level of automation, your employees do not have to deal with the issue of encryption. The gateway uses centrally configured rules to precisely match the technology of the external communication partner and ensures that all emails that need to be encrypted according to internal or external specifications are actually encrypted.
Additionally or alternatively, you can activate user commands that allow employees to control whether an email should be encrypted.

With the help of disclaimer management, you can insert central greetings and contact details into your company emails.
