QS-BELEG MED

QS-Beleg MED is a proven software solution that has been specially developed for laboratories, referral practices and laboratory groups. It enables the fast and precise reading and interpretation of various forms such as health insurance referral forms (e.g. sample 6, sample 10, sample 10A and sample 39) and automatically recognizes the printed patient master data, form-specific data and two-dimensional barcodes (Data Matrix and PDF417). The software works with cost-effective feed scanners that digitize the forms and make the scanned images available for information and the digital archive.

In addition to the standardized referral slips from the German National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KBV), QS-Beleg MED can also read individually designed laboratory cards, combination slips and IGEL slips in order to automatically record patient and request data. In recent years, the software has achieved a significantly improved reading quality through the use of grey or color images; even faintly printed bills are no longer a problem.

The recorded data is checked for plausibility and is then made available to the downstream systems. The current versions of QS-Beleg MED and QS-Beleg LG also support the recognition of two-dimensional PDF417 barcodes on the new pink forms that are produced in practices with blank form printing.

Thanks to the modular structure of QS-Beleg MED, the components can be put together individually as required. This means that users receive exactly the service they need and only pay for the selected functions.
