Collect all your valuable assets in FotoWeb. The format does not matter for the central server. All formats are indexed. Photos, videos, audio clips and texts are made available to everyone in the company via the FotoWeb server. As soon as you need an asset, it is made available as required. The software is able to make the media available internally, only for certain employees, or to make them available externally and worldwide for branch offices or customers. The program architecture of FotoWeb allows the uncomplicated and simple provision of assets.

Friendly (file) transfer

You can easily copy all media files directly to the FotoWare server via drag and drop, have existing assets searched and indexed by the FotoWeb server or upload them from the Internet via the web interface and from your smartphone via the app. With FotoWeb, importing files is quick and easy and your data is immediately available in the system.

Regardless of the source: FotoWeb always adopts the existing, standard-compliant metadata. This is particularly important when working with professional image databases such as Fotolia, pixelio or Shutterstock.

Proof of use - rights and licenses

The FotoWare system includes information on image rights and license expiration dates for every media file. These properties can be used to control the usability of assets fully automatically. As soon as the usage rights of an image have expired, for example, it is no longer visible to the "normal user" in the system and can therefore no longer be used.

It is equally important to know in which context or in which issue an image has already been used. FotoWare provides various ways of keeping a where-used list, from manual to fully automatic.

FotoWeb has a sophisticated system of authorizations. You can determine what a user is allowed to do for each asset. Opening, editing, deleting, adding keywords or other information, downloading - all this can be controlled separately. FotoWeb can even be linked to your existing Active Directory Services via a powerful interface.

Search, filter, find

Two principles apply to the FotoWeb search function. Every property of an asset can be found and all assets are searched.

Whether keywords, EXIF camera data or technical details such as color space and color depth - everything that FotoWeb knows about a file is available to you as a search criterion via the powerful search function. Of course, the search scope can be narrowed down for refinement. In any case:

FotoWeb ends the separation between researching and using digital assets. With the FotoWeb plug-ins, the use of the DAM system becomes an integral part of your standard application. MS Office users can access their assets directly from Word or PowerPoint.
