Symate is developing the Detact AI system to automatically identify interactions between parameters within complex manufacturing processes during ongoing production and start-up processes. The comprehensive recording and merging of process, quality and material data in Detact creates the data basis for self-optimizing production processes. Detact's high degree of adaptability to the production company's process chains is innovative. Detact automatically collects unstructured raw data from completely heterogeneous and distributed data sources such as MES/PLC and sensor systems, ERP and CAQ software as well as text-based formats (Excel, PDF, CSV, TXT etc.) and can merge them virtually into comprehensive process chains.

In combination with Detact's online capability, the fully integrated analysis backend enables the provision of encapsulated automation solutions - so-called Detact Services - for process optimization through self-learning diagnostics or predictive maintenance, for example. Detact Services enable the user to use state-of-the-art analysis methods without mathematical expert knowledge: e.g. the creation of mathematical models for technological correlations in the ongoing production process. Modeling is now automated and encapsulated in services. Freed from time-consuming data processing and analysis tasks, engineers can make faster and better decisions than before based on high-quality and immediately available data at the touch of a button. With its adaptability, Detact enables medium-sized production companies in particular to make a gradual entry into the digitalization of processes.

Typical pilot projects at customers start with up to three data sources and can later be expanded into productive systems with additional data sources or more data volumes. This efficiency in system implementation sets Symate GmbH's product range apart from competing providers. Expensive implementation projects lasting several years and involving large project teams are avoided; instead, the lean and flexible approach with Detact enables the use of data volumes that are permanently generated in production anyway, as well as the rapid provision of usable results.
