With IRI DarkShield, you have the ability to recognize, classify and remove or obscure sensitive data in various structured, semi-structured and unstructured data sources. This applies to various data types such as text, files in PDF or MS Office format, Parquet and image files as well as relational and NoSQL databases, including facial recognition.
DarkShield uses common classification classes for data, custom search combinations and consistent obfuscation methods that apply to both local and cloud-based sources. DarkShield also allows you to extract, share and view job results and associated file metadata in its Eclipse environment or your SIEM environment.
DarkShield supports you in fulfilling requests under the “right to be forgotten”. You can also provide specific data extracts for individuals requesting data portability and improve data quality for rectification requests. In addition, it is possible to store masked files either in the original files or in appropriately named target formats and folders in your network or the cloud.
Discover, deploy and delete PII: Sensitive data can be discovered in unstructured sources using various search techniques. Search results can be used to simultaneously or separately deploy, remove or rectify PII to meet GDPR requirements for data portability, erasure or rectification.
Local & LAN-wide protection: Whether PII resides on your machine or within your network, DarkShield provides comprehensive protection. It recognizes and masks sensitive information in various unstructured file formats and across multiple folders and drives simultaneously.
Generation of audit-proof reports: Query and view DarkShield's search and remediation results via the integrated, interactive dashboard. Alternatively, you can also use IRI CoSort, BIRT or your RDB in Eclipse. It is also possible to export log data and customize the display of information in SIEM tools such as Splunk ES.
