The third generation of the software offers an open database architecture based on Microsoft SQL Server 2014, which means that data can be processed and analyzed in a very company-specific manner and standard products such as MS Word and MS Excel can be used for serial letters and ad hoc analyses. Thanks to the consistent use of modern technologies such as Windows Terminal Server, the application can be used simultaneously from any connected Internet/Intranet workstation.
C/3 Basis is a powerful basic package for retailers with mixed product groups and can be combined as required with the modules of our industry-specific solutions C/3 carpet for the home textile trade, C/3 carat for the watch and jewelry trade, C/3 Textil for the textile trade as well as with the general modules C/3 cashpoint for the cash register, order processing and financial accounting.
C/3 was developed on the basis of practical experience and is being further developed in close cooperation with users. This results in a strong focus on practical work areas, which is reflected in the structure and organization of the software. A first starting point is the simplification of processes. Examples of this are the creation of labels and shop window posters immediately after goods receipt. The barcoded labels are the basis for simplified processing during stocktaking and in the checkout area. Evaluations can be called up at any time and are available to the management as a solid information basis for controlling the company. Trends are recognized at an early stage and quick action puts you ahead of the competition.
For purchasing, the system provides important data on quantities and prices previously purchased from each supplier per product group and article; important arguments in price negotiations. The additional consideration of product group or article-related sales data increases stock turnover and reduces storage costs.
Sales are boosted by direct advertising with access to the customer database and image enhancement through increased service readiness at the point of sale (PoS).
