Gastronomy software wanted

We are looking for an easy-to-use, expandable catering software for our restaurant business.

We only have one cash register. The cash register software should allow external access to the operating data and the operating turnover via LAN.

Requirements for the new POS system:

- 2 rooms and counter, approx. 20 tables per room

The software should meet the following requirements

• Easy to use, easy to read and clear, few colors
• Access from several mobile ordering terminals to the POS software, e.g. counter ordering on stationary POS, simultaneous table ordering via wireless access should be possible without any problems. The software should buffer printer orders.
• Hospitality voucher and accommodation voucher with separate VAT statement
• Radio receipt
• Separate kitchen and bar, two receipt printers can be connected
• Simple splitting of tables for individual billing
• Tables can be reserved by customer name; with the option of rebooking if guests change
• Voucher management
• Data import and export to Excel
• House voucher for free food or drinks
• 3 to 4 waiters as possible users
• Programming manual for the FA

How is support provided if problems occur with the hardware or software?

Is the software also sold without a POS system? Is it possible to connect to your own used touchscreen PC with receipt printer and cash drawer?

The hardware should meet the following requirements:

• Connection to an existing computer with Windows XP
• GDPdU approval - memory must be sufficient for 10 years?
• What to do in the event of a hard disk crash?
• Raid system mandatory?
• How is fail-safety guaranteed?
• Compatible with various receipt printers, EC-Cash, cash drawers, i.e. modular, so that a replacement can be easily procured in the event of a failure and the connection to the software can be established. Also for external monitor or keyboard.

Interfaces: USB (keyboard or external hard disk (data backup), connections for external monitor, serial connection (receipt printer), LAN

Optional: Very easy-to-read touchscreen 250 cd/m², pixels: 1280*800, 1366*768)

Supported devices: 2 receipt printers and one cash drawer

• Cash drawer opens via invoice creation on the receipt printer
• It must be possible to print receipts

In the future, it should be possible to issue receipts wirelessly, e.g. via an 8-inch tablet or your own cell phone (which operating system).

• Display should remain clear here

• WLAN can be connected, e.g. to send monthly reports to the tax office

• Optional: EC-Cash - mobile solution via ZVT interface
