Structure plan

What is meant by Structure plan?

A structure plan is an organizational tool used to visualize and document the hierarchy and structure of a project, organization or system. A structure plan shows the relationship between different components, tasks or elements at different levels of the hierarchy. This hierarchy can be used for projects as a work breakdown structure (WBS), for organizations as an organization chart, or for other systems. The structure plan helps to define, organize and understand the different parts of the whole.

Structure planning software provides a number of functions to support this hierarchical representation and structuring.
