What is meant by Real-time blocklists?

The term "Realtime Blacklists" (RBLs) refers to a database that contains a list of IP addresses or domains identified as sources of unwanted emails, spam, or other malicious activities. Realtime blacklists are used to check incoming emails in real-time and immediately block or flag potentially harmful or unwanted messages.
