Group policies

What is meant by Group policies?

The term Group Policies refers to a centralized management method in IT environments that allows administrators to define and enforce settings and rules for users and computers within a network. Group policies are primarily used in Microsoft environments to manage and control security standards, software installations, network settings, and access rights consistently. They help improve efficiency and security in IT infrastructures by allowing administrators to apply policies to various groups of users or devices simultaneously.
