Who we are and what inspires us
SIDOUN International GmbH, based in Freiburg im Breisgau, was founded in 1977 by Gérard Sidoun and specializes in AVA software with cost management and construction calculation for architects, engineers, construction companies, cities, municipalities, data centers and large industrial corporations. On July 1, 2020, Karoline Diegelmann took over the management of the company. She has been working for the company for almost 20 years and, through her architectural studies, is familiar with the world of planners. She has played a key role in the development and advancement of the SIDOUN Globe® AVA software.
For more than 40 years, SIDOUN International has been the premium software manufacturer in the field of construction management. The company was founded with the vision of combining two things: creating a place where people can work together happily and fulfilled, a place that inspires and releases creativity, a place where great things are created. At the same time, the goal was to develop excellent software in this atmosphere, software that makes everyone involved in construction projects happy, both through the ingenuity of the products and through a friendly cooperation that inspires customers.

SIDOUN became a pioneer in the 1990s with the WinAVA product, when the company developed the first AVA software for Windows. Since then, SIDOUN International has steadily expanded its position as an innovation leader. The current product SIDOUN Globe® has been recognized as the best industry software for the past five years in a row. The construction software, which has been completely redeveloped and is constantly being further developed, offers customers unparalleled flexibility and, at the same time, planning security in the daily work of planning, executing and calculating construction measures. More than 9,000 customers rely on SIDOUN Globe® and the products of SIDOUN International.
We develop our software according to the principle “The user is always right!”. This means that our software does not dictate anything, but rather supports the customer's successful way of working. The main advantage of SIDOUN Globe® is that the entire client is programmed in the latest.NET technology and therefore no longer needs to be installed. You can simply copy and paste the client onto individual computers. Updates are primarily done on the server. The clients receive the updates from the server.
SIDOUN Globe® gives you maximum flexibility and top performance. Work with your familiar MS Excel. Data exchange is bidirectional. Your Excel documents are bidirectionally linked to the Globe data: Results from your Excel spreadsheets are automatically transferred to the program. The SIDOUN Globe® building model gives you useful tools for segmenting and itemizing a call for tenders.
SIDOUN Globe® offers you a powerful and accessible AVA software with cost management. With the TALK! voice control module, SIDOUN Globe® can be operated by voice recognition, thus also providing optimal working conditions for people with physical limitations. Whether on the construction site or in the office, with TALK! you can control your program completely via voice commands and save yourself the typing of long texts.
