LOGSOL was founded in Dresden in December 2000 with the vision of supporting companies in logistical issues. Having started as a logistics planning office, LOGSOL has since established itself as a major player in the logistics market with a large number of national and international projects to its credit. Today, LOGSOL is represented in Dresden, Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Munich, Hamburg and Zwickau. The company is characterized by its continuous development, which includes not only consulting and planning services, but also the design and development of logistics software.
In 2009, in addition to the logistics planning and consulting division, the logistics software division developed into a new business area. In the meantime, the division comprises 19 permanently employed product managers and software developers. The close link between the consulting and product areas provides access to innovative approaches and holds a lot of potential for future software solutions. For logistics consulting, the focus is primarily on topics such as potential analyses, material flow and layout planning, container and packaging development as well as process optimization and employee requirement planning. The design and development of logistics software (web solutions) also focuses on algorithms, interface development, user-friendliness, sustainable software architecture and flexible functional modules.
In order to turn intelligent ideas into sustainable logistics solutions, LOGSOL has created a platform for science and research. Since 2009, "LOGSOL Logistics Research" has stood for a unique partner network of logistics experts, developers, scientists and users. A personnel, honorary commitment within the framework of the VDI, in the technical logistics department, has of course been part of this for many years.
