KED Kerntechnik-Entwicklung-Dynamik GmbH

In 1975 KED was founded and has since proven itself in the market. The main tasks were calculations for nuclear power plants, the automotive and chemical industries, and also the development of computer programs.

KED has always been very cooperative. Already in the 1980s, partners came from China, Poland, Yugoslavia, as well as from the USA, South Africa and England. Since 1991, there has been close cooperation with Russia in software development, especially for steam boiler construction. Our reference list includes hundreds of service and product customers. We develop solutions for challenging technical problems, we help with services for individual needs and we deliver solutions with existing or complementary software products.

We are known for always providing economical solutions to problems with fair terms.

Custom programming:

• client-server applications, internet/Intranet solutions

FE-Analyses:

• statics, dynamics, thermal shocks, transient and non-linear calculations.
• piping calculations with optimization of the support concept (experience with 12 nuclear power plants, among others), calculation of standard and special supports
• fluid and structural dynamic calculations in pipelines with simultaneous time coupled models (FSI).
• calculation of explosion waves and projectile impacts with finite difference programs and coupled FE programs
• design and simulation of steam boilers and power plants.

Customer consulting:

• application of safety codes (ASME, RCC-MR, ...).
